Social Services

Aitkin County Health & Human Services Social Services provides critical social service support including: child protection, licensing, foster care connections, pre-petition screening for civil commitment, adult protection, mental health, detox, case management, prevention, and substance use disorder services.

Aitkin County staff are available 24 hours a day to receive reports of child maltreatment (abuse/neglect).
