Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC)

C&TC Checkups are specialized health checks that are available at no cost to children from birth to age 21 that receive health care benefits through Medical Assistance.

Benefits of Checkups:

• Regular checkups help keep babies, children, teens, and young adults healthy.
• Health and dental problems that are found and treated early are easier to treat.
• Teens and young adults can learn to take charge of their own health with family support.

When should my child have a checkup?

• Infants: birth, two weeks, 2,4,6, and 9 months.
• Toddlers: 12, 15, 18, 24, & 30 months.
• Every child 3 years old and beyond should have a checkup every year
