AITKIN COUNTY 3.2% MALT ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE

RENEWAL INFORMATION

Please find below the renewal application and all required forms needed to obtain your Aitkin County 3.2% Malt On-Sale Liquor License for the upcoming year. Read and complete all forms and applications thoroughly. Please note the REQUIREMENT of township board approval for all new and renewing applications. In addition, a copy of your MDH Food & Beverage License renewal is also required.

***All delinquent real estate taxes MUST be paid in full before a license will be issued.

Payment in the form of Cash (at the counter), Check or Money Order must accompany the application packet. Make checks payable to the Aitkin County Auditor. The fee schedule is as follows:

Upon receipt of all completed documents, the Auditor’s Office will submit the application to the Aitkin County Board of Commissioners for approval. Time is of the essence. Please submit your completed paperwork and fees promptly to allow ample time for the application process to be completed.

• Business Address: Address location of business.
• Signature of Applicant
• Sole Proprietor is the owner’s signature
• Partnership or Corporation is president’s signature.
• Consent of Town Board
• Contact the Town Clerk immediately to be placed on their agenda; Town Board approval is required prior to returning to the Auditor’s Office.
• MDH Food & Beverage License Renewal
• Please submit a copy of your renewal with your completed application packet.
• $20 Buyers Card Application
• Watch your mail for the renewal application for your Retailer’s Card. This information will come directly from the State of Minnesota Liquor Control Division. It can also be renewed online. https://app.dps.mn.gov/agedis5/renew/pages/home.aspx
• Workers’ Compensation Certificate of Compliance
• Complete all lines required.
• List Applicant’s Name and Business Name as on Application. If you have coverage, complete all information that is requested.
• Signature and date.
• Affidavit as to Sales
• This form is required if you will be selling “On-Sale” and/or “Off- Sale” 3.2% Beer.
• This document must be notarized.
