Aitkin County Managed Campgrounds

In accordance with Governor Walz's Covid-19 executive order; all of our campgrounds are closed through May 31, 2020.

All reservations made before the shut down will be refunded.

Aitkin Campground - City of Aitkin - on the Mississippi River

Berglund Park - City of Palisade - on the Mississippi River

Jacobson Campground - City of Jacobson - on the Mississippi River

Snake River Campground - south of McGrath - on the Snake River

Water will be turned on at Aitkin and Berglund by May 1.

Water will be turned off at Aitkin and Berglund by Nov 1 (earlier if necessary).

Snow is not plowed at any of the campgrounds.

Online reservations must be made no later than 7 days in advance of your stay.

After that, it is first come, first served.

Please do not bring uncertified firewood into the campgrounds. Only use firewood from a certified firewood reseller.
