Food Manager Certification
and Re-Certification

The State of Minnesota requires a Minnesota Certified Food Manager in most food establishments. Food manager certification is administered by the Minnesota Department of Health.

If you are already a Certified Food Manager you must be re-certified once every 3 years.

The next Food Manager Renewal Course given by Aitkin County is (April 16, 2019).  
The April 16th class is full, to be placed on the waiting list please call 218-927-7266.

Aitkin County Environmental Services is a MDH approved supplier and periodically gives free training for certification and re-certification. The only prerequisite is that your business is located in Aitkin County or that you are employed by an Aitkin County-based business. Aitkin County will offer these classes on an annual basis.
