Forest roads
- Forest roads are not ATV trails but are open to ATV use as a means of
accessing public land. Trail riding is better suited for designated ATV
trails.
Aitkin County lands are classified as limited relative to ATV use. This
means that unless an area is posted open for ATV's, it is closed. We
have many forest roads that are open to ATV use - look for the green
sign that indicates the road is open to ATV use.
